Step-by-Step
#1 Purchase a domain name. For example http://www.hillwebsitedesign.com
-The more memorable your domain name, the more likely people will be to remember and find your Web site.
-You will need to check to see if the domain name you would like is available. (Click here)
#2 Set up your Website Tonight account.
-Click on the Build a Website tab.
-Click on My Websites.
-Click on Use Credit.
This will activate your free web hosting and site builder. (important note)
If you do not wish to have an ad-supported website, you may purchase Website Tonight with hosting included for $4.99 a month.
-On the right side, make sure the domain name you would like to use for your website is highlighted and click the Continue Button.
-A screen will pop up in a few minutes. You will see your new account, click on Launch.
-Accept the License Agreement.
-Fill out the Site Settings.
Create a username and password that will allow you to access Website Tonight anytime you want to update your website.
#3 Build your website
-Now all you need to do is be creative and have fun!
-Consider your target audience. What information would you like to have on your site? What will your site look like? I suggest you look at other websites that look similar to the structure you would like your site to have.
-There are over 800 templates for you to choose from.
-Easy layouts
-add a photo gallery, blog, shopping cart, search engine visiblity. The possibilities are endless!
#4 Publish your site
-Click Publish when you are done and your site will be up and running on the world wide web!
